Psychotic Parents - The Product of Ostrich Poitics

Disclaimer: This post is not for the faint hearted, contains stories that could upset people.

People all around the World are facing charges for killing their own offspring -  yes, you did read that right. But many cases only make the news for about a day. People don't talk about these cases, they let them slip away simply because it is something we don't want to talk about.

They were sociopaths or psychopaths, they aren't like us, it won't happen to us.

But why should we turn a blind eye when it comes to the worst of humans? Why should we even let all this happen after all many of today's society fights fiercely against abortions calling it murder and a violation of human rights. But you know what I haven't seen? People fighting for:
The sons of Gary Clarence, who were murdered by their own mother, Tania, after she "struggled to care for" her babies. You know that nobody blamed the mother for doing so, because she was mentally ill. The husband blamed the medical staff for pressuring his wife and doctors blamed the Family's "affluent middle class status" and cultural differences in the family. The father who was an investment banker, was viewed as powerful by anyone who was called up to testify. Medical reports said that the kids were seriously neglected before death, which the father rejected saying his children were fine. That makes one question if the mother was the only one who should have been treated for mental illness.

Elise and Harry Donninson, who were murdered by their mother after her relationship whit the kids father had gone bad. She had used them as "ultimate pawns" to hurt the father. Evidence says that the mother had planned to murder the father also... But did not go through with it.
Or Ayeesha Jane Smith, who was not fed for a week before her mother stamped her to death when she was only 21 months old. She died crying "stop mommy, stop daddy". Her fatal injury was her mom stomping so hard on her chest she suffered a heart injury and bit her own tongue. Her father was convicted with allowing his child's death but was cleared of murder. (I don't think there is much of a difference honestly.)

Little Sterling Koehn, who didn't live long enough to see his first birthday. And his parents let him rot post-mortum in their won home for a week. Cheyanne even posted on facebook disgustingly about that she is a "full time mom for life". She couldn't even be a mother for 4 months... let alone for life.

Yolanda Molemohi and Theo Williams who were forced by their father to make a goodbye video to their mother before they were brutally murdered by him. He is facing (only) 28 years of prison.

Most of us haven't even read about these stories. And they are not even the worst ones.. but not really uncommon either.
So many fight so fiercely for the kids who have not even been born but turn their heads when the kids who have lived already are neglected and murdered.

Mirror tried to solve the ultimate puzzle: Why do Parents Kill their Kids? And what left me speechless about the article is that in many cases the parents themselves are not pictured as responsible adults making a fatal decision but rather victims of mental health or domestic violence. This left me with one very simple thought: why do we let people with serious mental health issues, people with seriously violent tendencies, people who do not know what it means to be a responsible parent, people who have no real idea what it takes to raise a child have kids....?

Some problems can be solved with something as easy as education: I would suggest people should learn in sex-education about pregnancy prevention, and child care. I myself do not agree with abortion to the fullest. I think a child should be given his or her best chance in life. But sometimes the best chance is to not let him or her be born in a violent family -  I think people should be tested to see if they show the symptoms of being a sociopath or a psychopath should never have kids. I know it would violate the basic human rights to sterilize someone against their will, but when someone is acting like a beast then they should not have the right to hide behind the law. What about the human rights of the children who were deprived the most basic human right of all: a future.
I have always known that I am a radical thinker. I also have always known that my views would stir an uproar when said aloud. But I also think that remaining silent about my utter disgust towards these cases and how society treats them as nonexistent would make me part of the problem.

I think when it is a bigger news that some black person is offended by a celebrity posting a demonic makeup, the "offended" saying it is black face, and goes viral for weeks when these kids only get 15 minutes of "fame". How is that right? How is that justice?
Many of these kids never get justice. And what does it say about us when inmates have a greater sense of justice than us?

I bet many of you have never even heard of these kids. According to the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (because sadly we do have one of these and even more sadly we have the need for it, so at least we have a faint idea of how many kids suffer - at least in the US) 1670 kids have died from abuse or neglect in 2015. Also data shows a 5.7% increase in deaths since 2011. To translate it to a bit simpler means: in the United States, a first world country, 5 kids die every day by the hands of their parents. And those are JUST data from the US.

How are we letting this happen under the rug? Why aren't we doing something about this?

Many people believe that we can't stop it because we can't interfere with a person's life until we are CERTAIN that they endanger their family.
But why are we waiting UNTIL the kids show up with black and purple marks on their bodies or wash up dead somewhere?

Children are the future of this race. THE HUMAN RACE. Not just whites, blacks , asians and all the rest... but for all of us.
If we take such great percussion when it comes to adopting a child: I'm talking about years of waiting, going through couple's therapy, mental examinations, financial examinations - then why aren't we doing that also to the parents who want to have a kid?

I cannot express my anger towards our system enough. All I see is stupid disputes going viral to distract us from the real problems. I feel ashamed to be part of a society where we let thousands of small children meet their fate every year - and these are only the cases which result in murder. Don't even let me start on the number of child molestation cases.
What let us to end up like this?
